It takes me about 45-60 minutes per sock to weave all the tails in. This is my least favorite part of making these kind of socks , but then there they are in all there glory .Pretty , aren't they ?
and these are still waiting to be finished.
There are 11 pair in all and they are all going to a good home wayyyy up north to Canada.

Superb colour mixes, I like them all.
I weave yarn tails in while I knit, either by wrapping one thread around the next for a few stitches, or else by catching the tail up in the back of the stitches, but both these methods are a bit fiddly and slow down the knitting.
I agree with Dorothy, but I do it a wee bit differently. To make sure that I don't bulk up the knitting, I split the ply on the wool for about 1" and then knit it along with the previous colour, then split the last inch of the previous colour and knit it along with the new one. Clear as mud right! It only takes a moment or two, but really avoids the dreaded darning.
